Dress Code & Cosplay Rules

Dress Code

We're all here to have fun! But this is a mall and we must be aware of that and not interrupt their normal operations. That said the tenants of the mall have been told about the event and all welcome you to pay them a visit. So while we're enjoying the AC as summer heats up lets keep some things in mind so they don't shut down the fun.

  • The mall has many other guests, not just us. Lets try not to bother them - maybe they'll even join in!
  • The mall is a family place, keep all your privates - private.
  • Any clothing with designs must be appropriate. Kids will be around, keep it Rated 'G'.
  • No facemasks
  • Costumes are welcome, but all props must be soft/foam. Gun props must be obviously fake with Neon Tips.  Please, they just had a gun scare that led to a police raid don't traumatize the shop and mall workers.
  • Please no costumes or outfits that would scare children.
  • The mall is a public place, it is legal for people to take photos in public. Not everyone in the mall will be there for the event and may not have the same manners of your fellow con goers. We cannot stop them, we only have any say over what happens within the event space. If you would not be comfortable with someone taking your picture in it, please do not wear it.

Cosplay Contest

For the Cosplay Contest a full face mask may be worn only when showing your costume for the contest. Once you're shown your costume, you must remove the face mask. All costume's must still be appropriate around children.  We are in a public place, your costume may be cool but please to not choose a costume that is gored or looks like you've been hurt/attacked. You don't want anyone calling the cops on you.
